EC-Regulation for organic production

 		Since 1998 Austria Bio Garantie has been accredited as certification body for organic products according to EN 45011. The range of accreditation is inspected continuously. Moreover we are constantly striving to expand this range for the benefit of our clients.  Austria Bio Garantie inspects and may also certify companies´ compliance with following regulations:
  • Council regulation 834/2007 for organic production and labeling
  • AustrianCodex Alimentarius (chapter A8)
  • Austrian Codex directive for definition of “non genetically modified production” of foods and feed and its labeling

In the year of 2003 ABG was accepted as NOP-certifying authority by the US-American Ministry for Agriculture (USDA)
